After five years of living in Israel I finally made it to Akko a beautiful port city in the north of Israel. It has as much gorj architecture as you could ever want to feast your eyes on. Akko bears the beauty it does today thanks to its rich history where it has been inhabited by Judeans, Greeks, Romans, Muslims and many more. The hummus is to die for, and the port is charming with weathered boats that give it heaps of character.

This diamond in the rough is majorly inspiring for design and art of all kinds. The stunning architecture makes me want to build a house with the windows like this one that I saw all over the city.
Akko was also filled with turquoise blue doors that represent spirituality and also add the perfect pop of color. They make me want to wear turquoise pops of color which is perfect for spring.
