Adventure in the Inspiring Ancient City of Akko

After five years of living in Israel I finally made it to Akko a beautiful port city in the north of Israel. It has as much gorj architecture as you could ever want to feast your eyes on. Akko bears the beauty it does today thanks to its rich history where it has been inhabited by Judeans, Greeks, Romans, Muslims and many more. The hummus is to die for, and the port is charming with weathered boats that give it heaps of character.

This diamond in the rough is majorly inspiring for design and art of all kinds. The stunning architecture makes me want to build a house with the windows like this one that I saw all over the city.

Akko was also filled with turquoise blue doors that represent spirituality and also add the perfect pop of color. They make me want to wear turquoise pops of color which is perfect for spring.

Fashion Blogger Inspired by and In Love With Beresheet Hotel

After returning to Tel Aviv from Beresheet Hotel I am still dying over the Beresheet Hotel. It was one of the most inspiring places I have ever been in my life. It is so incredibly beautiful, and designed but not in a forced way at every inch.

This hotel is in the desert in Israel in a tiny town called Mitzpe Ramon. The hotel is literally on a cliff looking over a crater. I can’t remember ever going to such a tranquil place. The design of the hotel is subtle and has its wow factor by a perfect mix of textures, materials, and eclectic elements. If you want a true deisgngasm you have to high tail it there stat!!!

As you guys know I am more of an over the top balls to the walls, more is more kinda girl. However, Beresheet truly inspired me to try out my subtle side. I was also tickled pink by the amount of attention to detail that was put into the place. I will definitely be paying attention to the details in every piece of my upcoming looks. Let’s wear pieces that have amazing trims, buttons, and combinations of texture and fabric.

During our stay at this ultra desert chic oasis I brought my own pops of color and combo of textures.

Make Every Day Your Most Fashionable Day

Make every day a fashionable day.

In October when I had the pleasure of meeting world renowned fashion bloggers Bryanboy, Rumi Neely, Ada Alti, Daniel P Dykes, and Robb Young I was beyond inspired. Experiencing that amount of knowledge, style, and passion all at once was a true fashiongasm.

When I met them I was wearing an eclectic outfit that I wanted to be simple, sophisticated while also showing my young playful side. I mixed diesel jean shorts with dangerously high heels by the sexy Fashion Star mentor Jessica Simpson that I almost fell in numerous times. I was also sporting a threads shirt, target cropped jacket, and my grandmother’s red hat. I like to have at least one piece in every look be a show stopper. In this case it was my red hat. I have also been asked how shorter girls should dress. I like to show my legs to lengthen my body like I did by combining shorts and high heels. This keeps the vieweres eye moving up and down.

Take chances, be daring, and express yourself!!!!

This Sugar Daddy sweat shirt is the perfect piece in your wardrobe that you can dress up or down. It gives you glamour and style to a casual outfit for hanging out with friends or you could dress it up with a short skirt heels and some fun jewelry for a night out.

In this evening look I wore a velvet tube top and gray layered skirt. This is also good for short girls to have a look in the same color family to stretch out what you got vertically. My layered gray skirt is also very flattering for those of us who don’t have bodies like Beyonce. I added my pop of color in my turquoise earrings that were also my grandmothers.

accessorizing

This casual look where I was hanging out with my friends pays a true testament to the power of accessories. I was wearing the most basic clothes, my diesel jean shorts and a target tank top. My vintage gold necklace and leopard print head band hit you over the head with personality. Wear accessories that portray your personality whether it is subtle sophistication, punk rock, or princess girly girl.

On my honeymoon in Mexico it was all about bohemian chic. I love to wear cover ups at the beach that are brightly colored, and have bold, over sized patterns.

Evening Look Inspired by Israeli Designer Sugar Daddy

My love affair with the Israeli brand Sugar Daddy began last week when I was at the re – opening of Israel’s fashionable street Shenkin.  As I was strolling down the street I stumbled upon the edgy Sugar Daddy store front that lured me in from across the street.

I went in to check it out and to my surprise it was a REDIC sale everything in the store was no more than $50!!!!!  I obviously had to begin to dig in and see what gems I could find.  There was no shortage of edgy, rock and roll, bad girl looks.  Even though this is probably not the feel of the majority of what I wear I love to rock something bad ass when I feel in the mood to channel my inner rock chick.  After trying on half the store I finally found the most unique leggings I have ever seen, the color blocking on them makes them extremely flattering for all leg shapes.  I looked a little closer and realized that the color blocking was in the shape of BONES.  Could it get any better than that?  At that second it made perfect sense why Madonna loves to wear Sugar Daddy.

Later in the week I was shopping for beauty products and was in the MAC section.  I saw the sales lady wearing a dark red purplish lipstick and had a light bulb that that would be so fashiongasmic with my Sugar Daddy leggings.  I kept the party going with my ALDO British Rock wedges.

This was the full look including what Idan (my husband) calls the flower coat, and my British Rock ALDO shoes.

It was a blast at my friends birthday party in my vampiresque look.  We went to Bar Maoz on the fashionable King George Street.  This bar is one of a kind because in the back it looks like the inside of an apartment, and it is always packed with a hot 26+ crowd.
